About Us
We began practicing dentistry in South Lyon almost 18 years ago. We are a husband and wife dental team, both graduates of the University of Michigan Dental School. It had always been our desire to open a practice together in a small community and we found such an opportunity in South Lyon. We feel that we offer a unique alternative in a dental office for our patients as a husband-wife team. We consult each other often to provide our patients with the best care and it is easy for a patient to select a male of female dentist based on their own preferences. We have recently added a new associate to our practice, Dr. Gregg Hyde. He is also a University of Michigan Dental graduate. He recently returned to Michigan with his wife, Dr. Amy Kim after serving as a dentist for 3 years in the United States Army in Washington, Korea and Kuwait.
We are primarily concerned with quality treatment for all our patients. We enjoy all aspects of general dentistry and treat all ages. Our office accepts most forms of insurance. We were all trained at one of the top dental schools in the country and Therese and Bill taught at the school for a couple years. We believe strongly in continuing education and feel that we can offer our patients the best and most current modes of treatment available today. Our office utilizes an air-abrasive unit that often avoids the use of the high-speed drill on small cavities, particularly on children. We have a dental laser for procedures. We recently added the Zoom bleaching system to our office and have seen amazing results. We realize that a healthy, beautiful smile contributes greatly to a patient’s well being.
Our residence is in South Lyon, 5 minutes from the practice. We have two sons, Derek, Christian, and a daughter Madeline. We enjoy being active in the community with schools, sports and chauffeuring.
We are very excited about our facility located on Ten Mile Road near Rushton. We have been able to incorporate the latest and best new technology in the dental field.
